Further Education Project Coordinator (West Midlands)

About the role
Exam grades and job titles are not the full picture – the context in which achievements were gained also matters. At REUK, we actively seek to recruit with the right mix of talent, skills and potential, considering the impact of the context in which a candidate has worked or studied.
We are an equal opportunities employer, and welcome applications from a wide range of candidates, including those with lived experience of forced migration, and from other backgrounds that are currently underrepresented on our team.
Any questions about the role should be sent by email to Emily Bowerman.

This is an exciting opportunity to become our first Further Education (FE) Project Coordinator in the West Midlands. You'll be responding to the increased need we've identified for individualised advice, guidance and support for young asylum seekers and refugees wanting to get into FE colleges in the West Midlands. Another key part of your roll will be rolling out FE advice, guidance and training to local authorities, education providers and NGOs.
We're looking for a motivated, knowledgeable and personable individual to get this project off the ground. You need to have experience of working with young people, have great communication skills and experience of delivering training and be able to work in line with our wider team ethos. Experience and knowledge about the FE and/or refugee sectors is highly desirable.
We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of forced migration.
