REUK is a dynamic and growing organisation with some 35 staff members working across multiple locations.

The Higher Education Coordinator will have particular responsibility for administering the portfolio of private university scholarships for students from a forced migration background offered by the Schwab & Westheimer Trust and then supporting the successful scholarship recipients throughout their university journeys.

Alongside this stream of work the postholder will also provide HE expertise, both within REUK and externally, and respond directly to the most complex queries received through REUK’s national advice service as well as being part of a team delivering high quality external Access to HE training.

About the role

Exam grades and job titles are not the full picture – the context in which achievements were gained also matters. At REUK, we actively seek to recruit with the right mix of talent, skills and potential, considering the impact of the context in which a candidate has worked or studied.

We are an equal opportunities employer, and welcome applications from a wide range of candidates, including those with lived experience of forced migration, and from other backgrounds that are currently underrepresented on our team.

Any questions about the role should be sent by email to Emily Bowerman.

Please apply through Charityjob

Apply by submitting a cover letter (no more than one A4 page) and CV to Katie Barringer via CharityJob by end of Wednesday 17th January 2024. Your cover letter should include:

2) Why you think your skills and experience make you a good candidate for this role;

As we look for new team members, exam grades and job titles are not the full picture - the context in which achievements were gained also matters. We are an equal opportunities employer, and welcome applications from a wide range of candidates, including those with lived experience of forced migration and from other backgrounds that are currently underrepresented at REUK. If you think you’d be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.
