Access to further education (FE) training
REUK is pleased to hold Access to FE training sessions for mixed groups of practitioners including social workers, teachers and NGO staff.
We also deliver bespoke in-house FE training to ensure that groups get the tailored information they need for their particular context. This is a cost-effective option for multiple participants, our in-house access to FE training is aimed at organisations who want to train up multiple staff and embed learning and best practice across teams and departments. Our Access to FE training is designed in two parts. The first is an individual online training module which participants complete at their own pace, which covers the underpinning themes and terminology. This is followed by an interactive session led by REUK's expert team and with input from young people with lived experience of forced migration.

This training will enable you to establish whether a young person has the right to study at FE and which courses they are entitled to funding for based on their age, immigration status and where they receive financial support.
This training will help you understand the differences between FE providers, courses and qualifications. You will come away feeling more confident to support young people plan their pathway through FE.
